Welcome and thank you for investing your time to learn about our HSB Training Academy, we know you will not be disappointed!
The contents of this course includes a manual that is filled with all the knowledge you will need to know in your new lash career, the lash theory plus lots of helpful tips and tricks for you to learn and refer back to throughout your lash profession. The course will also include in depth lash demonstrations. The lash extension business is thriving, which makes now a great time to learn with us at HSB Academy in Rainham Essex. You will be provided with training for all the different styles of lashes from natural to medium to full and, what I like to call, mega lashes as well as how to create and develop your own unique styles.
Our aim is to ensure you feel comfortable to carry out a lash service for any type of client at the highest standard. We know after training with us at the academy you will leave feeling confident and excited for your new lash venture.

What to expect from the course

This course will be from 10-4:30 on a pre-arranged date at my salon (Rainham, Essex). This will include training in salon as well as some tasks to be completed by yourself at home. I will provide help and support throughout, including videos and manuals to refer back to at all times.

Aim & Objective

Our aim and objective is to insure you feel confident and comfortable to carry out a lash service,  to finish the course excited for your new future venture, with in-depth quality knowledge and skills in the lash industry. 

This course is fully accredited so you will be able to lash once you have sorted your own insurance and completed this course. 

About your trainer: 

Holly Sheen will be your lash trainer and is founder of Holly Sheen’s Beauty, a successful beauty salon based in Rainham, Essex and opened in 2016. 

“I, myself have been qualified since 2014, carrying out lash extensions ever since. Lash extensions are one of my favourite services at the salon, I love to see how happy and confident our clients are after their treatment. The success of our lashes at HSB has been the main reason we have been able to expand as a business as clients return every 2-3 weeks for top ups. Seeing our clients through their most exciting times such as weddings, birthdays and holidays is very rewarding, and I can’t wait for you to experience this yourself after you train with us! When I first started training in beauty myself, I felt very scared and unconfident so I understand how daunting it can be before making a choice to start in a new venture. Over the years my confidence has grown as my skills have and couldn’t be happier or more fulfilled with my career, so now my mission is to help as many people as possible not just thrive in earning a good wage from a lash career (which I will show you my methods to achieve this) but to also enjoy the process of it all! Lash Theory
We will cover all lash theory. You will receive a lash theory manual before taking part in the course to keep and refer back to. This will include everything from lash history, lash curls, thicknesses, lengths and diameters, different styles, the lash cycle and much more. You will also have time to digest this information, study and come back to me with any questions. Before and after our in-house training day.
 
Lash Demonstration
I will go through a demo of a lash application on a live model and talk you through step by step my own techniques I have developed myself over the years, all my secrets will be shared, and any questions answered. It is my mission that you qualify my course feeling confident and ready to lash perfectly! You will also be applying the lashes to a strip lash that you will receive in your kit to practice your application on the day. The course will be an intimate small group and you will have time 1 on 1 with me. 

After Your Course 

This is your time to practice, perfect and study. I will provide a homework booklet for you to complete which includes Strengths, Weaknesses, Lash Love, Dream Board Section, Quiz and a section for photo evidence of your work. 

You will need to send me photo evidence of 4 different lash sets. You will get 4 weeks to do this after your course.  I will not pass anyone until I feel confident that they understand the correct process. This is nothing to worry about because additional help can be discussed and arranged if I feel it is needed, you do not have to be perfect that comes with consistency in your practice. I just need to know that you are safely applying lashes at your best. 

Once you have completed and passed all areas of the course and I am happy with your work I will send your certificate and you will be fully accredited to carry out eyelash extensions, however you will still need to source and be responsible for your own insurance.
