The Microblading Process

The different processes of microblading

Having microblading done takes you on the ultimate brow transformation. Like anything thats worth it, this process can take some time (around 8 weeks from start to finish). I would just like to explain in more detail with the step by step treatment explained.

When you first arrive I apply numbing cream whilst talking through a one to one consultation. A patch test would have to be done 48 hours prior to the treatment however, this consultation is to check that the treatment is suited to the individual at hand and to check any medical history (for more information on this please feel free to call the salon). Then I will have an in depth discussion with the client about what outcome we want for the eyebrows, this includes us covering different shapes, shades and styles to really make sure the client is getting the service they want.

Once we both have agreed on a desired outcome I talk you through a brow mapping process and measure and draw the brows precisely. I do not go through to actually using my micro blade until we have both agreed and extremely happy with the work so far .

After this I will start my blading, until the most A-MAZE-ING brow is born and created. Then I will go through after care for the perfect eyebrows.

The healing process :

This happens while you wait 4-6 weeks for your top up to come around.  The first few days after treatment the new brows will appear around 40% darker then what they actually are going to be, after these few days your new brows will start to scab (as I always go on about in salon please do not pick these scabs) this is completely normal and apart of the treatment. It will take about 2 weeks for scabs to be completely gone (everyones healing time will be completely different depending on skin). Once the scab is off the brows they will not seem as “polished” or dark as when you left the salon extremely happy a few weeks prior some areas may even seem to have vanished or not be as noticeable . Again this is completely normal and happens to everyone! This part of the process it is just the middle of the process . more work/healing time is still needed in order to get your desired outcome.

The 4-6 weeks later :

This is the part of the appointment that excites me the most . Its the finishing , perfecting magic time! You will come back and I will go over your brows again for the second time maybe adding in a few more strokes for perfection .You will leave the salon feeling as happy as the first time you arrived 4-6 weeks ago however these brows are now here to stay for around 8months - 1 year.  you may still experience some scabbing after this session .
